About Wildflower Film

I built Wildflower Film as platform where my creativity could grow. It started with my love for creating short films and capturing portraits on 35 mm film. I noticed how common it was for people to feel shy in front of the camera, and I loved being able to change that and give people confidence in their natural beauty.

My decision to specialise in acting headshots came from my last experience getting some myself; I left anxious and lacking in confidence, the session felt rushed and I feared my agent wouldn't be happy with the results. Headshots are not cheap and I'd put a lot of pressure on the shoot to help strengthen my portfolio, but the photos had no display of character.

On reflection of this experience, I decided to try my hand at professional portrait photography. I applied for a grant to rebrand my company and up-skill myself for this field, and have been overwhelmed by the kind feedback of clients, and responses of agents, and casting directors. I thoroughly enjoy every session, and am excited to see Wildflower Film develop as we look forward to our next chapter.
